Jos van der Kooy made his international debut in 1970 with an organ recital at the Kaiser Wilhelm Gedächtnis Kirche in Berlin. His concerts and recitals are still an important part of his activities. Closely linked to this is his role as cantor-organist and his teaching both at the conservatory and at university.
